Raining and muddy all day! Fun day riding with the front group until a bad pinch flat. Totally my fault for bombing down a very rough descent in an attempt to make what would have been a solid 3-person break. CO2 injector was plugged with mud that had worked it’s way into my saddle bag. Hand-pumping a tire with 2 plugs that didn’t want to hold air took ages. Last 25mi solo was a death march. I hope this race catches on. It’s a good one.
