MISTAKES
Should have ridden my bike all the way to north side of Heinen to ascend in interest of decreased time. Although shorter in terms of distance riding up Cinch Creek resulted in a longer than anticipated difficult nine mile hike which took five hours, namely because I misjudged how quickly the trail petered out. Silver lining is the resulting ridge traverse contained stunning scenery, especially since it exposed me into the middle of the dramatic weather. Hopefully the next contender can learn from my mistake and set a more impressive record.

Need to check my compass more often. When descending Heinen in the dark and the middle of the thick clouds/fog I unknowingly ran across an old trail and mistaked it for my own which eventually sent me backtracking half a mile, it took me 15 minutes to recognize the deja-view. Study my tracks to identify this, and notice I almost summited Heinen twice! Lol.
