Afternoon Mountain Bike Ride

190 kms today. Legs finally came around and for the first time since the race started I actually felt like a cyclist. Really fast first half of race. Didn't calm down until 90 kms in. Next 50 kms were pretty chill until we hit a tough climb. I started at the very back but was able to pass a lot of people and came over in 2nd group. Everything came back together after about 10 kms. The finish was good for us, but with 10 kms to go Josh flatted on a fast descent and went off the road on a corner and took down Ryan with him. I went in an 8 man move with 8 kms to go but we were caught with 2.5 kms to go. Jasper was on his on during the finish and was able to get 12th on the stage. I came in at the back of the group. Ryah and Josh finished and will be ok, but I don't think Josh will be able to keep racing. He knocked his head pretty hard and landed on his back.
