That was a beaut 👌. A delayed start though as my phone hadn’t charged overnight, I twiddled my thumbs and decided 78% would be enough. Today I had no plan of putting the additional bags on or carrying much extra gubbins.

Direct main roads for the dash to Comrie - never done these before, always thought they’d be too busy, but was grand. A beautiful but chilly morning I was glad of the long base and gilet. There was an odd pocket of mist around, in the usual places, but not a cloud in the sky.

Lednock, a lovely road, two gates and two dodgy cattle grids notwithstanding. Soon amongst the hills. Then the final run up to the dam. It was lower than I expected, but guess we’ve not had much in the way of rain for quite some time. Only me and the sheep up at the top.

I rolled back down, little lanes after Comrie, with Braco firmly in my sights. It took a while to come though. Coffee stop, and a toastie and fruit slice. Quick turnaround.

Had cafe legs, or just a bit tired from the earlier 4 hours of zealousness. They came back enough for the Gleneagles/Glendevon climb, one I always enjoy.

Then just a little detour for some unridden roads and the run for home. I did pause for a little sit down on the Benarty Hill Road 😂 and polished off a bar. Flagging a bit towards the end but I’d have eaten more in that last hour if I was going further. It did cross my mind to call in at Ceres, but I refrained :)
