We climb together the first climb of the day, Passo Umbrail. At first so slow until Paolo decide to attack at 10km to the summit. Then I make my move but Loic and Jordan manage to stay on my wheel for 2km and we arrive to a flat part of the climb so I stoped push because made no sense. Finally Paolo and Fabio reenter the group and we arrive all together at the summit. After a freezing neutralised descend we wait for wheels to follow on the flat (thanks guys for your effort today) and then the second Stelvio, that time from Prato. I gave mi best and I climbed 20” faster than Loic and Jordan but wasn’t enough because of the time we lost in the flat and even wasn’t enough just for take the stage win. Anyway whit out help I couldn’t climb it like these so…
Finally I finish 3rd today, loosing 3” whit Jordan and 2” whit Loic. The GC still the same and tomorrow will be just one TT to Lago di Cancano. You never know, but nothing should change there!!!
