I forgot to start T1 when I got out of the water, so I cropped this data to reflect about when I entered the transition area. I can't add that to T1, so this data is basically accurate but the T1 should be longer and summing the entire event doesn't add up to the total race time.
Before the start, I knew one swimmer was going to be faster than me, and he though he'd be slower than another swimmer. The three of us were definitely leading the pack to the first buoy, but once we made that turn, the field separated quickly - one swimmer ahead of me, and I didn't see the swimmer behind me. I believe I was 2nd out of the water, about 100-200 yards behind the fastest swimmer.
