Tricky pacing a 100% solo effort without some shared pulls but reasonably quick on the gravel climbs, sand and downhill chutes.  45c tires definitely the way to go. Unfortunately cramped at 2 hours like the old days.  Always enjoy standing around trying to get my quads and hams to relax.  Legs don't like working without oxygen and reminded me to throttle back the last 15k. :(  
Note to self - try not to choke to death when gulping a gel.  Actually thought I might die for about 30 seconds.
