6th place in open class, missed out on getting paid by 1 minute, chain came off twice going up bare hare, had to jog a section on Bull (the rooty steep punch) after a rider in front of me didn't make it, pee stop just to be comfortable, I guess I should have tried a one minute harder 😂. Had a ball today meet some cool people while racing which made the suffering a little less bad, the top five were on a different level. I tried staying with the lead group going up the first major climb up coopers gap but got dropped 2 miles before the top which was a lot better then last year thou. Hecklers by the steep chute on Russian Roulette were a fun distraction I guess I did alright there since no one threw a beer can at me or if they did then they missed 😂. Nice seeing all the familiar faces and such - Brian Schworm, Matt Dockings, Thomas, John, Brad, got to meet Albert Harrison who won today on a HT dude got a motor on him. At the end Victor from Florida pushed me to the breaking point going for the finishing line, didn't even need Eric Post someone else filled his shoes today 😂
