On my way up, the duct work from the air box on my car came loose causing me to stall out on I-80 when I was already heading up the canyon. The joys of buying used cars. The previous owner did not put all the parts back when he tried to make it "look" stock. Later on during my actual ride, I came around a blind turn to see another rider coming right at me. I stopped, but he panic braked and went over the bars, landing on my wheel and rotor. The rotor sliced the skin on his tricep right open. Luckily the crew he was riding with was packing more first aid gear than an ambulance and was able to bandage him up well enough for him to drop down Spiro and get someone to stitch him up.
