Mon premier événement gravel, pour "le fun".
End of season event, though, after backing off for a couple of months to let a lower back issue resolve, my first event in over 2 months. Watts way down on usual, but good enough sensations to give it some welly on three out of four timed sections. Sleepy head at the start, after an evening out in Geneva. Did not even notice the first timed section was on until I saw the timing traps at the finish 😂 Aloïs Falenta had me well beaten on the last three, so would not have made any difference to the results anyway.
Rocking the magic Cervélo Caledonia GRX/Ultegra mashup with Conti Terra Speed 35s run tubeless.
Elevation corrected because of rain up at Loèche-les-Bains crapping out the pressure sensor on the Garmin 530. Super parcours, just shame was not dry and sunny the whole way around.
