Ugh, it’s Xmas tree season

Oh I have a religious exemption for your permit system Quandary, but thank you. Out smarting the system by adding 3 miles. Gave me a nice warm up, but the cool down sucked. I’m working on repeating all the 14ers and So. I knew it would kind of be quiet with cooler temps and an early storm. Expectation was low with it being day 6 in a row and the legs feeling it. CFI needs to take into account how short i am when they build steps. The uphill went well until the last 3/4, the DH was hard but fun. I thought I CR’d the DH, I guess not. I might try again soon. I got to see some goats up at Blue Lakes, a lady definitely got an awesome picture of me on the DH, everyone was super nice today, and grabbed some firewood permits. The ranger station in FairPlay has a sweet gift shop.
