Absolutely peak fall colors, every type of road surface imaginable, incredible views and gorgeous mid-summer weather for a mid-fall day.  Mosquito Gulch was aptly named and a true gem in the Crusher route 😡 😆.  Planning a road bike route based on Strava heatmap in this area is sure to be adventurey, and I could hardly have been more underbiked.  That said, I was happy to tack this into a weeklong family camping trip at Van Riper even with some changes to the itinerary.
