I was so sure I’d send this long before sunset! Started with steady climb, then right around mile 8 started descending.. it was beautiful, but the last mile or so it shoots straight back up for about 1000’ 😧 Marin Ave right there! That’s when I lost it! all my juice was gone and the sun started going down and I realized there was no way I would have enough energy for the rollers and descend in the dark… That’s when God sent his angels - they were parked at the summit, smoking weed, drinking beer, listening to music, and watching the sunset… they tied up my bike on the roof of their car, and gave me a lift back down! 🙏🏻 

I rode today only about 45 miles, but climbed ~8800’, like never before. No Jamie, I am no little machine, or turbo ☀️, or little piece of dynamite 🧨 how someone else was calling me… there is human under this skin, and a wounded heart. Today at the summit of Pine Flat i reached my limit… exhausted!
