Very pleased with this race today! Ran with the 2 front guys from the beginning and was right with them until the 10K then they separated. But I really surprised myself with how fast I was able to do this especially with getting hurt last week and getting sick a month ago. Great course, very fast even with the hills, except in the last quarter mile we had to run up a 50 foot hill, gave me flashbacks to Big Bertha in Adrian. Goal was sub 1:15:00 and I accomplished that and had a 5 minute 40 second PR! Very foggy to start but then became sunny by the end.
