Great weather for a run. Was mid 50's and mostly overcast. After getting 6.5 inches of rain a week ago I was worried that the trails would be super muddy but they weren't any worse than last Saturday's run. Saw very few people and only one couple with two dogs that we passed by. We, did I mention Meco went with me? It's nice having him along and he generally does fine, though, still a bit slow to come or stop when called. Today he was great until we got to the end of the trail and came across a turkey who was waddling down the trail away from us. Meco VERY quickly slipped his leash and took off down the hill. Fortunately I got him back fairly quickly. Great little outing before the trail becomes un-runnable for the winter.
