Claimed my first KOM downtown Charleston on the cobbles!
They’re nowhere near as smooth as Lynchburg’s…
Nice ride to the greenway then all the way to the Ashley River bridge. 
Continued into downtown and found a flooded street from all the rain I couldn’t resist riding through.. 🤦‍♀️
My dumbass did find it funny however when the water got above my shoes and I was fully committed. Probably 12-14” deep. Lol
Soo my shoes were flooded right at mile 15. 😬

Attempted two cobble segments and smashed the second one! 🤴 
Great ride even though my legs were cooked at mile 20. At mile 26 I ate a little cup of jif peanut butter. 
The whole ride felt windy in all directions
Once the sun went down I started getting cold. Especially my hands and wet feet…
Probably wasn’t ready for 30 miles, but definitely worth it!
