I’d never gone hard up the switchbacks because I usually go down to the valley and know I’d regret it on the climb out, so today I decided to hit it hard for the first time. It definitely hurt a bit. My legs were a bit tired after work, and I think if I do it again, I need to give my old man legs a little more than a quarter mile to warm up before the climb.
