    Well done!!

  2. Craig W.

    Nice one Charlie!

  3. Lee T.

    Great job!!

  4. Nick O.

I hope 'We Are The Champions' was turned up loud on the way back! Smashing stuff Charlie

  5. Ty Farrer

Fantastic run today Charlie, i was hoping you were going to slow down, not disappear into the distance. Different league - well done fella!

  6. David A.

Great time well done - def. a course to do it on!

  7. Charlie Wartnaby

Thanks, I enjoyed myself today. 'We Are The Champions' magically played itself as soon as I turned the ignition key, Nick!

  8. Matthew S.

    Those skills pay the bills

  9. Charlie Wartnaby

Hmm no cash (or vouchers) today, but hey!

  10. Matthew S.

Cracking stuff Charlie (especially with jeppers and makka towing the start line, even if they were a bit jiggered)

  11. Matthew S.

And Finkenator 3000 for that matter

  12. Charlie Wartnaby

Biggest threat was Vicky! JEP & Makka totally undermined my victory by having spent half of their race arsing about having a water-fight, showboating, etc etc. But only once I'd shown them a clean pair of (whittled-down) heels, obviously ;-)

  13. david broadley

great effort CW. cracking time and podium well done drdave :-)

  14. Makka 🏃

Most fun at a race. EVER. Only because we knew we couldn't keep up with you Charlie. Awesome. Going back up to Therfield to find my legs and a new knee.

  15. Charlie Wartnaby

Ha ha, just seen the pictures! Not a bad time for you there considering you had a water fight en route (and a 10K PB 2.5 days beforehand)... I swear I could see JEP's bubble going backwards in the flyby. Magic.

  16. Makka 🏃

    Where are the pictures?

  17. Charlie Wartnaby

Ah, we have email, linking to here (no link on the main Bassingbourn half website when I looked earlier though): http://www.paulholtomphotography.co.uk/?Action=_VC&id=211391604&ppwd=basshalf
