Especially my dad who rode his bike in the cold rain all around the course watching me. Big ol PR 23:19 ish for a full 5 miles. At least that’s what the clock said. Who knows when Hermes will actually post the results. Anyways some dude from the Atlanta Track club and I were going at it pretty dang hard the entire way. He started to puke so I made a move to try an get away for good like 800m out but I slipped on some wet bricks so the move was pretty ineffective. He came back and we kicked but he nipped me. Legs just wouldn’t move any quicker although I wasn’t anaerobically maxed out yet. Legs were just stale from the down time probably. My splits are kinda messed up from bad GPS in the city, but good morning overall. Enjoy the people and birds you love today 🦃
