Had ditched 100-mile goal as under-trained and under-tapered. Nineteen hours in, decided to aim for fifteen and give myself time to chat, drink beer and eat ice cream. 
Then a second wind blew over me. Sharpish loops late on. Completed 17 laps for 105.4 miles.
Fantastic experience. Like a Woodstock for runners but with Tailwind and ShotBloks instead of spliffs. Amazed to come fourth solo male. But, if I were to do it again, I may seek a team. For the social side.
