Morning Run

Fast and flat again with the diesel crew today. It was fast the whole way not quite as fast as last week though I did feel better today. I made some good pulls. My best was my steady 25 mph pull going up West pkwy. It was a good jam down 2 bridges where we averaged 28 for a PR.
Then the climbs started with Francisco. Knowing the climb better than last week, I went out faster today and I still managed to hold onto my pace from last week in the end. This caused a 5 second PR and I moved up to 6th.
I wanted to go under 2:30 for on union to snake rd. I decided to set out a little slower today on Union going 11 over 12. I think it help me have more energy on the switchbacks. I then increased my effort grinding on and off the saddle as hard as I could. But it paid off coming in at 2:29.
