My first foray into FKTs. I had a workout on my plan with a similar distance and pace, and figured this would be more fun than doing laps of my local park.

Slight westerly breeze today (though thankfully, you're sheltered from it most of the way), 3-4 degrees - overall, almost ideal conditions.

Started in the dark, ran with a headtorch for the first 8K or so. Beautiful sunrise this morning.

Couple of gels, no water.
