Amazingly strong group of riders do an insanely huge effort in the heat of the day. Felt like a race that I didn't have to pay for. Pushed perhaps as hard as I ever have for 20-30 miles on the way home, and then fell off the back when I felt like I could be a "danger to myself or others." There was some sense of redemption when I met up with Keller and Robert at the Danvers Caseys because they felt destroyed and fell off a few miles after I did. Whatever doesn't kill you...
