In Beitou for the weekend so asked Strava to recommend a 50k route. It was absolutely lovely when I set off and was soon regretting wearing an undershirt.

That soon changed when I hit the first small section of the riverside, the wind was ferocious and very chilly. 

Apart from hitting every red light inTaipei Iwas glad to be kept mainly to town roads as it gave me some shelter from the wind.

3hrs 30mins out for a typical 2 hour ride 🤣

I will console myself with my in room hot tub and sauna though 😁
