Hahaha but it was such a fun race! First loop was great as the trail was frozen over so we had great footing. I just wanted to go into this one and hammer from the beginning just to see what I could do. Second loop was a bit warmer so it was much more muddy. Still Felt good for the most part all the way until 4-5 miles to go. Very pumped to run through the 50k at a new PR of 3:41:44 and then finish the race decently! Course record! Shout out to Andrew who also got the course record and to Ellie who I believe got the course record for the 20 miler! Fun day and excited to race again soon!
