Speed-wobble on a loose, chunky descent is terrifying even before a 45-mph gust of cross-tailwind gets involved.

Had to hike up a hill on Ode Rd coming back into the most brutal stretch of headwind. Wind aside, the new gravel roads east of Hwy P were good ones; I can imagine the whole stretch from Anderson Rd thru Sexton Rd being quite pleasant without the mental anguish of having quickly to alternate focus between staying upright and keeping from crying from the effort.
