Been a few months (October or November) since I rode >20mph, so I thought it might be fun to go out and hammer for a little while again. No way I could've kept this pace up for 60+ miles, I'm quite impressed with my October self for being able to average 19.9 over 65. Should probably get a power meter one of these days so I have a more reliable metric, cuz yeah... not the best way to measure fitness....

Anyway, today I noticed that my right shifter makes a super weird creaking noise when down shifting, or even when light to medium pressure is applied to the shifter. Can't quite tell where the noise is coming from, but presumably it's from inside the hood as the shift cable doesn't have to be moving for it to happen. Any thoughts?? Does it just need some lubrication or something? It's super odd.
