Ate and slept well last night.

I got to Swedetown shortly after sunrise. Started from the chalet at an easy effort level and skied through every loop/trail via the 'keep making left turn' approach (except right onto Greenstone after Powderhouse, and right onto Greenstone after Mama Bear).

Focus was on breathing, form, technique, and some terrain appropriate drills (wider arm positioning, arm recovery, step turns at speed, longer glides on individual ski, pole free glide, dominant hand V1 up ascents, double poling the longer arc of Greenstone, etc.).

Trails were very exquisitely groomed and classic tracks were sturdy too. Quite warm (in a pleasant way) and some Sun-exposed segments were tender. Stopped to shed the hat and buff on Powderhouse, and a couple more times for photos.

Fell twice - once while attempting step turn at speed at the bottom of Flamingo and once on Valley trail (ski got stuck in a soft deep rut). Chatted with Pat and Chris before the outing, and saw John (on PistenBully on Valley) and one other skier (on Greenstone) along the way. Good conversations. Good outing.

Vauhti Pure One Mid Liquid Glide (Violet) applied on 2022-03-19 and polished with a dedicated brush on 2022-03-20 (Vauhti Pure Pro LDR Liquid Glide might have been a better choice for this outing); Structure: Toko Yellow
