Absolutely gorgeous conditions for a blast around the Granites and Soutra loop. Felt great all the way and what a pleasure to be out on the light bike in full summer set up, short sleeves and legs out.

New rubber, new cabling, new SKF bearings all around. Super smooth and felt fast.

Beware of the frogs all over the road heading down to Heriot. They're absolutely everywhere. I managed to avoid live ones but I'm afraid there's an aweful lot of kemit shaped carnage.
