Little different ride, Race week

This was the most fun I've had on a bike in a while and it was incredible training for Kona. It started out with a goal of averaging 50KPH on Hatt Rd which I managed and then the goal was Ilparpa Time Trial. This didn't happen because the rain and massive headwinds had me going 20KPH-30KPH, downhill, and at 285Watts! However, Bullen Road was another story!!! WOW. I then turned around and did it in reverse (the only way I suggest even doing this course) but the storm had passed and then the tail wind was gone. I only had 20minutes at Threshold and most of the efforts were in Zone 3 Tempo. Definitely felt tapped towards the end considering my 3 hour tempo ride 2 days ago. But the winds were awesome and really helped prepare me for whats coming in Kona.
