Started the day with the lead in the GC, KOM classification and Points classification. Spent most the day closing down break aways in the leaders Jersey but let a non-threatening break up the road late on to take the bonuses. It came down to an uphill sprint but unfortunately had to grab a handful of brake into the last corner to avoid crashing into the rider in front, they found a time gap between two of the riders in front which meant I was bumped into 2nd on GC, and 3rd in the points classification. Overall a good experience in the leaders Jersey, shame I couldn’t keep it but considering I had a bad cold not a bad result.
