I really like this course; there is hardly any neutral terrain. You are either gaining or losing elevation with the steepest gradients near the snow canyon intersection in either direction. Aside from that, most of the gradient is shallow, but always up or down: similar to running the Boulder Creek Path for those from back home. The first half of the run course is the most exposed so could potentially be affected by wind if it starts to pick up in the afternoon. I know wind isn't often a talking point in comparison to how much it affects the bike, but I do think it could be an additional factor for athletes when they're on the run course.
