50 miles of pure adrenaline, going over 6,000 foot peaks in three separate thunderstorms. Felt great at the half way point but my legs decided to seize up at mile 55 and never recovered. Not sure what happened. Nutrition and pacing seemed to be on point. Attempted to drop several times. Probably should have dropped. Spent tons of time at aid stations reevaluating my life decisions. Walked the last 50 in 20 hours and kept my streak of thirteen 100 mile finishes alive. Woof!
