That was hard but fun!!  3rd finisher 🥉.
The pace up the first 20 miles of climbing was nuts and winnowed the group to 5.  Then Bikenut, virtuoso of supertuck descending, gapped the group on the long ride down and it took several miles on the flats to reel him in.  Over the flat-ish section the group reduced to just 3 of us trading pulls until the proper final climb started.  I began to crack.  Ludo smashed it up the first half of the climb and had a decent gap but Bikenut managed to catch him on the 2nd half and blitz into town for the W and was barely 4 minutes off the course record!!!.  Leg cramps hit suddenly in the rollers after the last climb so those last few miles I was gingerly on the pedals to try and keep the legs from locking up:  they're just not used to 100 mile rips without a single stop (I've got at least 20 more excuses if anyone is interested).
