Last Tuesdays ride was an excellent 19k route in the hills around Welshpool ably led by Neil, if a little eventful..
If it wasn't for the cats running out in front of us, or the covey of partridges which took flight as we disturbed their sleep, then the biggest upset was Andy's huge crash on one of the few the short sections of road.
A small branch sticking out of the hedge jumped out and grabbed him as he passed at over 30. From behind we just saw light, dark, light, dark, light, dark and I must admit thinking we'd need an ambulance.  Luckily he was soon up and dusting himself off, and the only broken parts were a mobile phone and a car key.  Thankfully Ryan supercarkeyfinderman was present who found the bit of key, threw it away, then found it again (he was just showing off his superpower).
