Wasn't sure how this was going to go since my legs have hardly had a break for a while now. But it went very good, and a lot better than last year's bonk/dehydration go at it. This time I actually brought a vest instead of just a bottle...







I was a bit distracted getting to the pass with all these pretty leaves and stuff. After taking some pictures I got to work and paced it well for the rest of the loop. Once I was at the top of the last sustained climb I knew I could blast it for the last 6 miles or so. I was pretty tuckered out after it was over but it was a solid effort right to the end.
