woohoo! icing on the back-to-back-to-back long run cake today, gorgeous out on the holyoke range. wow these trails are tough! i started at the notch & did the east section first, then the west. submitting as a self-supported fkt because why not! may not be eligible due to the non-standard start. 

felt surprisingly fresh, considering the 40+ previous miles over the weekend! i think my body was essentially like: ok, this is what we do now. wild. got a bit fatigued near mile 19ish, and one knee hurt a little but i made it through unscathed. so happy i used the poles, what a difference. watch died less than a mile to the finish, lol. ate the most giant burrito at el comalito afterwards
