I bailed on the 50k because the inside of my left knee is still achy when running (it started on Monday after the LR). I’m pretty sure it’s a minor case of pes andersine tendonitis. I didn’t want to risk turning a minor injury into a major one so I stayed home. 

Instead I went out on the bike and tested out my new road tires (I had been riding on 32mm gravel tires). Wow, what a difference they make. I was going 2-3mph faster at my normal effort. I did Punch Bowl for the first time. Fun little loop!

Unfortunately, biking also seems to bother my knee a bit.
