Pacific City to Lincoln City. Reached mile 118 of my journey thus far- that’s just under 1/3 of the way and I’m on day 4!

Legs had a lot more in them but have a connection in Newport tomorrow night, so stopped at ~23 miles. Body handled today like a champ! No chaffing, no blisters, and with another long hill climb at mile 12, I was curious what my quads would be like. But they were solid. Met more awesome people, including friends of friends who have roots in Bellingham - crazy small world. They were in a cafe in Neskowin and asked about my adventure and we chatted for a while! 

Something noteworthy was that my hunger/nutrition shifted today, with hunger starting early and remaining present throughout- so between mile 7 and 19 I ate couple cliff bars, a breakfast sandwich, a smoothie, bag of chips and still was hungry when I rolled into Lincoln City. Scarfed a subway sandwich and already scoping places for an early dinner. Last night, I had a big bowl of clam chowder before a burger and big salad. My body is using it all up and wants more! 

Now it’s time to go jump in Devils Lake, where I scored another Hiker Biker campsite, next to a couple people who are hiking the OCT.
