I sat down 2.5 years ago and specifically had this route in my mind to get the running legs back. I have shaved off roughly 30 mins each time I go out for harder efforts but always thought 6:30 would the limit of this meat chassis. Today, everything came together. There was nothing left come the old railroad bed. That remains the hardest, easiest 7k to be featured on a mountain route. 

There’s nothing like crossing that bridge and collapsing in front of a nice New England family in a heap of blood, sweat, and Gu dribble. Welcome to PEMI looping kids.
