First real effort since the North Cascades shebang, and definitely not recovered yet. But Black Peak is an amazing run and turns out the mixed team FKT is incredibly low hanging fruit (i.e. there isn’t one). Michael very casually scampered in front of me this whole run setting his own FUT (fastest unknown time) - if he ever decides to get serious about speed stuff, watch out world. And despite my sloth like ways we still managed to best both the male and female FKTs… although for all those interested, I think the fruit still hangs verrry low. This is an amazing route- go out and get it!

Also strava isn’t recognizing the Black Peak ascent segment, probably because we got off the trail a bit while on snow. We were 2:21 to the summit.
