Not sure where these brain-children come from, but here is one of them. So thankful for the ability to get there and back again without TOO much knee pain. Thought for sure it was going to storm, but turned out to be a lovely day, and the low hanging clouds made for cool pics. Started just before 5am and got to the portal a little before 8am. Kind of a “late start” for the summit, and was wondering where everyone was on the way up, then found them all at the top. Got water at what would have been the last option from the 99 switchback spring, but much to my surprise, found some of that extremely rare eastern sierra rain tea, served in carved out rock bowls, around the summit. Tried to get it into the katadyn but was too shallow, so went face-first and drank till my 💜 was content 😬 Goofed around up there for a bit, and took my jolly time getting back down to the portal. chatting with peeps along the way . Wasn’t trying for any specific time, although hoped to maybe get to the summit within 7hrs… regardless, didn’t see any submissions via up and down the portal trail from LP(Totem café), so… 🤷‍♀️

Ps 
was reading in Hebrews 12:22 this morning, “But you have come to Zion, the mountain city of the living God.” ... Apparently God loves mountains too!🥹
