2nd place to pretty much 2nd to last. Slashed the front tyre early on. 

Tried to fix it with 3 plugs which worked for all of 500 meters. Rode 5km with a complete flat just running on the insert, before trying to boot the tyre (also failed). Eventually  tried to put a tube in, but the tube didn't have a removable valve core and I couldn't get my pump to it until a very kind couple lent theirs which just squeezed on. 

Massive thanks to everyone that leant me CO2 cannisters and for the loan of the pump 👊
