Pretty fired up from the races these past few days so I decided to send it on Northover and see what happened. So much fun, pushed well and got a hard effort in. About 5 minutes off the FKT, really solid time has been set (I decided to run it in the opposite direction, figure that's fine right). Great one to chase in the future. Definitely some time to save, can't wait to try again.

Ran into a very large and very intimidating bull moose early on, came crashing through the woods. Scared the hell out of me. He decided to lead the way for me on the trail for a bit (while I kept my distance) before I was able to scare him off. Then his mate came through and repeated the process. Good way to wake up 😳 Bit off track after Aster Lake but hey, extra mileage right. Was in the clouds on the ridge, low visibility but nice and cool. Had a solid bail coming down from Three Isle, full sprawl on the rocks into a roll, popped right back up and kept it going. 8/10, decent form. Split finger is the only damage fortunately (just a flesh wound). Torrential downpour for the last few clicks and boom, made it.

All in all a really good one, never a dull moment 👊 Thanks to Chris for joining. 

*Forgot to mention my saviour Barb! My parking lot angel. Chris was behind me and had the keys and I was soaked from the rain that had come in. I was sheltering by the outhouse for awhile but turning cold (forgot to stash some warm clothing / didn't think to grab the key from Chris) and she saw that and offered me a blanket and then to warm up in her vehicle. So kind, so thankful for that. Good luck to her husband Scott at Grizzly. Lovely people!
