I left everything out on the course today!
A forgotten water bottle meant I cramped up at mile 47 and Gray Gray put in an attack and I lost the main group. The course is longer this year and more climbing means more suffering. The climbs are soul crushers and steep. Rode solo for the last 24 miles and thought about quitting however, it’s my last race of the year and I wanted finish and get to that line!
Great day, really well signed on course and huge thanks to the volunteers and the organizers. It’s a fantastic and challenging day out!
