Zwift - Z1 ride on Libby Hill After Party in Richmond

Wanted to check out the Monikie route for a couple of weekends time, also Carrot Hill has been on my list for a while.

Set off a little later than I wanted, so started at a higher pace that I would I have liked with the efforts yesterday.

Carrot Hill from the south felt like a long drag. Great views once over the crest and a tricky descent with a bunch of greasy mud on the road.

Monikie circuit looks pretty quick with a bunch of gentle downs, a couple of gentle ups, and a few short sharper ones. Wary of the junction and turn in Monikie village, doesnt look especially friendly.

Was flagging by this point, and knew Carrot from the north was sharper having just come down it. Had a bite to eat to get a little more energy and hit it. Pretty good, think I prefer it to climbing the southern side.

Quick brew with a work colleague and then down the hill back to Dundee. Looking forward to a rest day tomorrow.
