Altough I m doing a lot crazy stuff, I wouldn’t call myself an expert on finishing a Double Everesting. Basically tried to learn as much I could from my first attempt. Wrote down a clear plan I wanted to follow. But running over a period for more than 50 hrs a lot of things could happen during the run. And they came and popped up. After multiple chats upfront with my coach he told me that I don’t have to worry as the main important thing is knowing the symptoms for the reason and then finding the right things against your struggle issues. 

I had an amazing start into this attempt for the first 3.000 verticals, which were probably a bit to fast, but it’s ok as I felt well. Just to name an example. My general nutrition plan went out perfect. Cheers to Jonas Jacquet from Sporthunger for your support. But I realized that I struggled a lot with cramps during the first night, so after a short chat with my supporting crew, we started to add a lot electrolytes and salty things into my nutrition concept. And see it went out perfect, as my legs were totally on fire. Was more than impressed about the pace I could run Up- and Downhill, till I reached almost 15.000 verticals. After 180 kilometers I slowered the pace, as I didn’t wanted to risk any injury.

Thanks to all of you out there, to my supporting crew and to everybody else out there thinking of me during the running session 😊 without you this achievement wouldn’t be possible. 🫶❤️
1 st German who ever finished a Double Everesting by official rules and 12th globally… I think these numbers explain precisely the craziness of trying a Double Everesting .
