First thing I learned today is don’t forget your shoes…🤦🏼‍♂️ Thank you so much to Andrew Elliott [Team JDElliott ]🇬🇬🇿🇦 for giving me his shoes and pedals so that I can take his place to start the race. I will never forget it… The second thing is that you will get nowhere on your own. Surround yourself with like minded people and you will go places💪🏼  DuToit van den Bergh bent over backwards to make sure I had fresh legs at the end of the race. This was an all out team effort. Would have liked to take the win for the team, but Nick from DMS played his cards perfectly today… Chapeau☝🏻
