Adventures in the (second) Year of Yes. One of the most bizarre but also coolest things I’ve ever done. Completed 7 loops of the 4.17 mile course, so full distance should be 29.17. Each loop begins on the hour, so I lasted 7 hours total.

Original plan was to just do 6, but got talked into running one more loop as slow as possible after running the sixth one hard-ish.

The thing that stuck out most to me is the camaraderie and kindness that I saw from everyone, including runners, crew, and volunteers. I don’t know that I’ve seen anything like that in a road race. 

So thanks Mary Kwiatkowski, I’m a fan now (and congrats on your PR!!)
