The day started quite early. At 1:30am 🕜 with a 4h car ride (124 kms) to reach Ramechhap. Here I arrive 1h earlier than the 1h buffer + 3h delay due to clouds ☁️.

Finally I took the paper plane to Lukla. Very noisy 🔊, some turbulences and very impressive how short are the runaway. It flies ✈️ in few seconds. Finally I experienced what is landing in Lukla.

Here I had to wait for some organization and the day started almost at 1pm 🕐.

My idea was to do the pass but I was discouraged based on trekking times", but I think I would have time. We stopped in the lodge 🏠 at Chatanga at 3500m and I decided to go a bit more up for acclimazarion.

I went up to the line of 4200m and back ↩️. Then the owner saw me in "trail running style" and he explained me that he is part of the Mira Rai initiative and showed me pictures from the runners 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ (Anita and Sabina) who I run with the Manaslu Trail Race.

Very welcoming, inviting me to sleep in the lodge free of charge 🙏. Runners vibes 📳.
